In 2022, Muhammad (Momo) Abdullah identified an opportunity in Burnage, Manchester, to acquire a small dessert shop.

Since then, he and his team have transformed the business into a massive success story – Cheat Daze. Through their innovative menu and exceptional customer service, Cheat Daze has emerged as a major disrupter in the rapidly expanding dessert market in the UK. In 2024, Cheat Daze opened 3 further sites: Bramhall, Salford and their first location outside of Manchester, in Bradford. Building on that momentum, Cheat Daze opened 6 stores in 2025, followed by another 4 stores in the first 4 months of 2026 – cementing themselves as one of the fastest-growing dessert franchises in the UK.
